With usual cable and broadcast TV being the pits here lately , I have been watching the Disney Channel more. The programming, albeit aimed at teens and tweens, is top notch and at times even a bit to the adult side. But its kept kleen.

One of the best ideas I have gotten out of this trip down teen ally , is that Disney, does not enable much if any outside advertising. You don’t see ads for crap. No ads for those just gotta have $19.95 plus shipping and handling products, or ads for kids to do the Potty Dance, plugging diapers, you get program information and internal promotion for the network.

Which is a smart move. Seems as though Disney got the idea right. Cable TV is a subscription based television service. We all pay a fair share of money to watch good programs, why should a good movie or program be interrupted to see some dumb ass’d ad that’s poorly produced for things that border on the fraudulent if not X-rated. And the locals say , I’m RACY, huh? Bullsbreath.

While I fully understand that all need to make green to eat and all, and local OTA(Over, the Air) broadcasters need to charge for ads to stay on the air. These cable networks don’t. Shit they get enough money from subscribers both cable and satellite, to stay operational, so why scalp people for ads?

Which brings me to an idea here. Our AM radio station over in Buhl, KDOH AM 10/90 is a prime candidate, to convert our programming there to Radio Disney.

Hey some of the music coming from some of these shows on the Disney Channel is not bad. In fact quite good. Plus for DOH fans, the demographic fits , so I’m looking at doing that.

However we have nearly ran out of room at the Buhl studio location so we are looking for space. Both in Filer, Buhl, and Twin Falls , Microwave the signal to the tower on Bell Rapids and take it from there.

My thoughts are that we can run our more edgy broadcasting on the FM’s both in Buhl (KDXC FM 105.7) and here in Mini Cassia (KDXB FM 105.3 ) and do up a station that all can enjoy.

And so I sit here watching Dr Phil, in my room here in Salt Lake City. The traffic below is normal, since its the same with me on Blue Lakes in Twin Falls. I'm meeting with the High Council, on shop/and radio gig issues here. They still feel, that the radio gig, would be better served and operated from points and places in or around Salt Lake City. Me I think we can do it all from both points. On the shop. Their views are, putting that in a place where infrastructure including telecom, is easier to access than our current location. After all, there only so much room, that one needs for a Motorcycle Shop. As it is, is; HCC first, then Heavy Rescue Toew second. As far as the WolfPack, still working to get us a hangar out at Joslin Field.  Missed getting my Qusadillia, today, from Cosa in Twin. Ever get the feeling that Facebook is eroding ?

Ever get the idea, that facebook is eroding? There is nothing much anymore that one can read. News has gone away on the platform, since those Congressional hearings with Zuckerburg a year or so ago, the news from friends what few you can really call friends on FB are, so short that, you can't even get a bite of your Qusadillia before its over. Then the ads. Thank goodness that I have an ad blocker. I have no interest in reading or seeing ads for products that are poorly made, can come apart at high speeds, and are not worth what they are asking for it. Kinda like watching late night Cable TV. Used to a worthwhile thing to climb in the facebook cab at night, or anytime, now days ain't worth hardly to even have an account, and my, don't piss em off. Which brings me to spot 2 here.
