Might be cheaper elsewhere

If it was the same price everywhere, I might not complain, but with two outlets charging $5.63 a can and several others only charging $5.00 one wonders , why the difference in price? Can the other places offer the product for less cost because they buy better or is it truly that some places have a bigger overhead? The other question here becomes, has the idea of being competitive gone the way of the ten cent Coke and high finned fenders?

The lessons of independent commerce are best reflected and understood by those in towing(like me) as if your not being competitive your competition is soon going to swallow you up. It used to be that way with all small to medium business’s . The better the price and the better the service , the more customers and thus more money one would make. Sadly many business’s have forgotten that. Today it seems that many just think, scalp em, get as much as you can, who cares if they come back. And then our politicians wonder what happened to the Yankee Union economy. Its not the damn Government, its us, the people, the citizens of this nation that screwed the pooch.

When we all put money and pride in front of doing the right thing , charging a fair but not a ridiquless price, treating people like we all want to be treated, we , not the damn Government , started digging the economic hole that is surly going to be our nations grave.

When we as business’s do not follow through on promises, when we as business owners forget , its the customer that pays our bills and feeds us, and if we act smug , we loose that dollar, when we as business’s don’t make the return phone call, its us as business’s and our employees that suffer. This effects others down the food chain. But it ain’t the fracking Government.

But then thinking on how much Skoal costs from one place than another, one must think, it Might be cheaper elsewhere.

Quote of the day:
The problem with the designated driver program, it's not a desirable job, but if you ever get sucked into doing it, have fun with it. At the end of the night, drop them off at the wrong house. - Jeff Foxworthy
Ephesians 5:1-2“Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”
