Airwolf Flying Around

My Southern Ayre

There is a thing that get's under me every once in a while. When I hear the echos of the killdeer's outside, I think back to those days in Hazzard. Out at our very rural home, long before Internet, and all that, no cable TV, although we tried to get the dumcauff's to stretch a wire from town out there. But I remember walking down to the mailbox, about half a quarter mile to the main road. I'd get about halfway and sit on this old main branch of a Russian Olive tree that had been torched by lightning years ago. I'd sit there with the squirrels, the two bobcats, and yes the killdeers who tended their nests close to that tree branch. The dripping of that overhang of that tree, and such it was indeed peaceful. No matter what was going on with the club, which was founded there in Hazzard in 1982, still, I sat there and drift off, take a euphorian trip to never-never-forever land, and enjoy it. This is what kountry living is all about. It's what I use still as a dru...

It's been one helluva ride but we are getting there.

It's been one helluva ride. Its not over yet, butt,  What started fairly easy has become a nightmare to say the least. HazzardAyre Radio has hung in there, thanks to you our members and support sponsors. We have been off the air since December 2018, From the PoohBear disaster to crooked landlords not keen on bikers, Marine Combat pilots, and of course us Confederates. However after months of taking Goody's Powders   we have our club house as well as the beginnings of where the studios, built from ground up. Thanks to QuickSilver Computers here in Twin Falls, Idaho, as well as John Deere, Harley Davidson, and others I can see a real light at the end of a tunnel, and not another approaching train. The big hurddles that I can see right now is getting on air honeys and converting to not only audio radio but including vidio in studio whilest on air. However whilest a wall in front of us, like it was in the Corps, we find a way over, around or under but bust through desp...

This crap is way outta line

Image
It never ceases to amaze me at the idiocy of today's media. Its not just the local TV stations delivering news, noooo, FoX News Channel is also just as bad. Example was watching tonights ep, of Tucker Carlson's show. At the tail end of it this one, (of course blonde) contributor gets on there and her voice is so damn squeeky, that I had to mute my TV. Reminded me of the days someone would run finger nails down a chalk board. Dang it, FoX when selecting these people, at least select one that has a voice, not just blonde hair and neon legs.  As far as the local news, what local news? You watch CH-7, they have become so boring and aged that I watch about 5 minutes of a newscast, then go watch FoX or CNN. I saw a bloop in my inbox and on my phone not to long ago. On it was this thing, about supporting local news. Again, what local news? Newspapers are not much better, especially the one we have here in our area of Idaho. The Times News has no competition, why? Because once any...

Always Remember Knytes Rule, and I did my Part now lets see if she does hers?

Image
April 2020, I realized this morning as I stared at the ceiling of my hospital room, that I'm going to be 61 years old this month. Dang I'm getting old. Folks here in Hazzard used to bark about some of the sneaky schemes of old Boss Hogg. But some of theses shyters, I find on fb amongst others exceed anything Boss Hogg ever did. You'd think I'd be smarter. I'm praying Charlene isn't one of those, but even if it turns out she is, I only spent $500.00 on her, so if that's all and it will be all until she's living under our roof. We will see, now lets see if she follows through, or vanishes. Hope not. It'd be pure Heaven to have her here. But one can wish in one hand and poop in the other and find that one fills up faster. Even my associate at Walmart said so. Okay then , been watching the reruns of the series House. Which has one of my dream women Jennifer Morrison  is on it. She is still such a dream fox, that I get a stiffy everytime I watc...

Great Hazzard County Morning to ya'll here's what's going on here

Image
Great Hazzard Morning to ya'll, finally caught some shut eye overnight. Had a slight crisis, overnight that required me early this morning to exit the Wolf's Den. Had to go out on a toew, nobody else was available, then fuel the truck after. Which was good since I could snag some SKOAL, in the process. The teleconference style meeting of the WolfPack and us was fantastic. We got to do what we wanted to do, and discuss many things. And yes, I do think FB discriminates against us, and more so since this Emily entered the picture.     it would be grand if that'd work out as it seams on the surface, but I also remember at least 5 others that pitched the idea of moving out here with me that were nothing but smoke and mirrors for some con artist guy, trying to infiltrate the insides of the Reaper Crew, so, I'm being very careful. So with the confinement, of this Covid19, I renamed it, paininthebutt21 . But it does give me time to engineer the radio werx, so that b...

If your stressed over this Covid19 thing and cooped up in the house, just get out your DVD player and watch Dukes.

With every body, being cooped up inside because of this Coronavirus and all, many start to feel blue and pouty. Me? Nah. Yes I caught the virus, but Doctor Henderson, says my exposure was mild and should clear with lots of bed rest, stay inside for two weeks, and drink lots of juice and water. Taking some antibiotics, and should be myself in a few weeks. So what do you do? Well I write, A LOT, work on radio gear in my home studio, and when that gets too much. I turn on my TV, and engage my VCR as well as my DVD player, then I tune out for a few hours, and melt into another world. A world much smoother and an easier time, I get lost in Hazzard County. Yes I get lost watching the Dukes-of-Hazzard   Hazzard County has been my escape and refuge, for nearly 41 years. Many say that its only a TV show, that's phony and has no substance. Besides the moral lessons I get from the show itself, for us in the Hazzard Knytes(that's Knights) Hazzard County is a way of life. You can t...
